Shopify add on Subscriptions

We have time-based subscriptions for our apps we need to integrate the add on subscription it's not a app subscription by using we are to access for the all apps but the problem is on shopify it's allow only one active Recurring subscription, So if Anybody know how we can implement it to manage our subscription.
example:- if user have subscription like yearly for $100 then we offer add-on subscription for $30 and if user buy the add-on subscription then should not affect the billing cycle or the status of your main yearly subscription.

there are a couple of workarounds you can explore to manage time-based subscriptions with add-ons for your apps:

• Product Variants:

  • Create separate products for add-ons (monthly, yearly).
  • Treat add-ons as product variants of your main app.
  • Users purchase add-ons separately at checkout or later.Pros: Simple setup, users can subscribe to multiple versions.Cons: Unsynchronized billing cycles, separate subscription management for users.

• Custom App with External Gateway:

  • Develop a custom app for external subscription management (Stripe, Recurly).
  • Handle all subscriptions (main app and add-ons) through the app.Pros: More control, synchronized billing, combined billing options.Cons: Development effort, additional complexity with external services.
