Shopify App and Shopify inbox app notifications not working

I have just started getting orders on my shopify store and I wasn't notified of the order on my desktop - I've made some changes and this should be fixed now but with my shopify app - I can't see anywhere to test that it is working as I also did not recevie any notification for the orders on my app.

I have an iphone 11 pro max and all my notification settings are on and they Shopify is enabaled notifications during all do not disturb modes.

I was told by support that it looks like I need to download shopify inbox to solve the issue and when downloading this I've now been able to get desktop notifications of shopify inbox but now when I go on shopify inbox app in the setting under mobile it says 'No mobile devices configured for notifications' 

I can't see anywhere to add a device either. Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm sending test notifications to the iphone on staff notifications on the app and nothing is coming up
