My name is Jay, and I am looking for a Shopify app for my restaurant that delivers food based on a weekly subscription.

yes that will work or you can make food delivery on wixx too that is better for food or restaurants

I think the Loop Subscription app makes the most sense as you suggested but I have concerns about postal code validation and selecting the stating date.

Please look at the flow of the new reference website you will get better idea what I am trying to achive.
