Hi @crespox1989,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

While we cannot confirm whether a shop is using Shopify as a platform, I'd be more than happy to provide some guidance on how you can proceed.

If you believe the shops outlined above are operating on the platform and are in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), please fill out an AUP report here. This will allow our support team to investigate that material and take the necessary actions if it violates the AUP.

For privacy reasons however, we are unable to discuss an individual store with anyone but the store owner. We investigate fraudulent activity reported to us and take action accordingly. We understand your frustration at this time and trust that this will be resolved promptly.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

I believe my details were stolen via Shopify and the fraudulent person spent $7000 on my credit card in the USA.

The details the stores in the USA have on the orders are identical to my Shop Pay details when I ordered something locally in Australia in April 2024.

My name is spelt exactly (last name in Caps which I haven't done anywhere else). My email address, actual home address and phone number are identical.

The USA stores advised the fraudster bought one small item without changing the shipping address ( so I have  parcels here now), then used the 3 giftcards to send goods to anywhere ( but not to me).

One store sent me the IP address from where the orders were being made - in Brazil apparently.

Two stores have refunded my money as I contacted them all to advise not to send anything out as I didn't order anything. Some stores were lucky enough to be able to deactivate the gift cards, others not so much.
I decided today to google Shopify today to see if anyone was reporting frauds and I found this site.

I have been in touch with Shopify but they deny anyone got my details via their website. I am not convinced.
