I have been with shopify for 18 days. It has been nothing but a nightmare! Chat support is at best, extremely unhelpful and now they are holding my funds for days. I chose next day payout to be put in my shopify balance account. I NEED my finds from orders to make their baked goods that are ordered. I have spent hours on chat and have gotten no help! Is shopify really hurting for money so badly that they have to hold a very small company's little $733.57?!?!
Anyone ran into this issue? How did you get it resolved when we can't speak to anyone unless we pay $2,300 a month for their plus plan? That is grossly ridiculous as well.

While I don't have direct access to merchant tickets through the community forums I can confirm that the ticket you shared is escalated to the correct team for additional support. I recognize the impact that a payout hold can have on a business. These kind of reviews are a normal experience with online payment gateways while our banking partners ensure your business is a good fit for the gateway.

Actually, I have never had this issue with any payment processor!
HMM, Funny that I was paid out like SHOPIFY told me I would be and now with the 3rd and 4th order I am all of sudden not paid out like I am supposed to be.
Payout holds and reviews are standard practice and the details of this are available in the Shopify Payments terms of service. Reviews like this are part of a process called "KYC" or "Know Your Customer" and they can be initiated at any time. Stripe, one of our banking partners, offers some great information on this. Hi @thrivingk9, which payment method are you using, is is Paypal or Wise Card? in few cases they hold funds for order confirmation to be put manually either they are delivered or not.
let me know the payment methods are you using? and did you check the payout date already?
