More than 3 weeks back my payouts were paused. I was waiting for about 5 days to receive and e-mail from your Internal team. Once I got the e-mail witht he required docs I sent them right away. I submitted the docs into my Shopify as well.
It took another 5 days and numerous e-mails to your support to receive another e-mail that requires some more docs, as proof of address different than the one I attached and a picture of the stock with hand written date. I sent these docs as well. The date was May 29, 2 weeks back. Since that moment I have contacted customer support more than 30 times and your Internal team by e-mail more than 15 times (as they pointed they are best point of contact). What I got was another 4 e-mails asking me for the very same dosc which
i have already attached 5 times (proof of address and pic of inventory). The whole thing points out as a big fat scam. It has been more than 3 weeks, my money are blocked into the account, most of the orders were fulfilled and I have sent 10 times the required docs, what I get is only generic e-mails from your Internal team (just one generic e-mail resent 4 times) and some generic replays from your customer support representatives. Initially I reported this to
https://www.oag.state.tx.us/consumer-protection/file-consumer-complaint/consumer-rights. I explained this to the customer support 20 times. I got nothing as a replay, my payouts are still paused.
On Monday I filed a complaint with the local police department. Holding my money for weeks and sending just generic e-mails is considered fraud. I have no direct line of communication ! I have just generic e-mails and I am quite sure that nobody is reviewing my docs and Shopify just declines to do it and completely disregard the docs. I have already sent an e-mail to the legal team on behalf with my lawyer (who i hired and paid myself) .
Some lawsuit here will be a good idea.
Shopify is a scam !
And we are talking about 3000$, I can't even imagine if I had 30k$ in their hands. It's absolutely malicious and illegal.
