Hi everyone,

I just received an email from Shopify stating that my account has been closed due to a violation of their Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). However, I was not given any specific reason or warning before this happened.

  • My store is now completely inaccessible.
  • I have pending payouts that Shopify has not released.
  • They provided an appeal form, which I have submitted, but I haven’t received any response.
  • The email also states that their address is not monitored, so I don’t know how to contact them directly.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so:

  1. How long does the appeal process take?
  2. Were you able to recover your funds?
  3. Is there any alternative way to reach Shopify support for a clearer explanation?
  4. Are there any legal actions or steps I should take to get my payouts?

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I'm also facing the same issue right now. Have they resolved your store yet?
