All things Shopify and commerce
I am using Shopify Collective as a supplier, and a number of our retailers listings from us show Out of Stock notices, even though these items are actually in-stock on our end. Shopify is tracking inventory on these items, and the counts have remained about the same, so I don't think it is an issue with the sync timing. On our end, the items are set to track inventory, and to continue selling when out of stock.
Is there a problem here with Collective or should my retailers change their settings to continue selling when out of stock, or to not track inventory on these items?
Hey there, @hperl. Thanks for taking the time to reachout to the Shopify Community today with your question around these 'Out of Stock' notices. My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you!
We didn't have reports of inventory appearing oddly in the admin in relation to Collective on the 14th, but we did have some issues with inventory status on March 13th. Are you still experiencing these issues with these 'Out of Stock' notices? If so, were these products that are showing these notices recently unshared? If so, this can impact inventory syncing between retailer and supplier. There is a chance that your retailers may not have the correct inventory location selected for these products, so they should double-check that.
If these issues persist after considering these factors, then I recommend that you reach out to our Authenticated Support Team via our AI Assistant so we can get you authenticated and investigate in depth.

All of my Collective retailers are having this problem. Their inventory shows out of stock when it is in-stock, and whether it is tracked or not in Shopify. Will get with support team.
We are having the same issue. We are a retailer and using Collective to source products from Collective Suppliers. Inventory seems to be inaccurate. On their end its 0 but on our end its over 400 units. Its not for all skus, but for some. Is there a way to do a refresh or resync? Thanks.
We're having the same issue as well. In addition, we are also receiving collective orders for out of stock products which makes no sense. We have 2 inventory locations. Only 1 is setup to sell products online yet the collective app seems to be pulling inventory from the non-online location which is very irritating because this is our brick and mortar inventory that we reserve specifically for the storefront.
