All things Shopify and commerce
Hello community, i have had a issue trying to verify my domain on shopify and after doing all the steps like inserting a TXT record with domain provider in order to verify the domain which was done correctly it still gives me an error on shopify stating "your domain couldn't be connected because the store is frozen"
The domain that i want to use is from a previous shopify account that i disabled and recently activated it again in order to transfer my domain name to my new shopify store. The domain was not on my website and instead moved to the admin domain name. My old store is active again so i do not know why i am having this issue. Even on my old store where the domain was that i want now still runs to same issue with trying to verify the domain name. It just gives an error that the store is frozen.
I have opened a ticket number with shopify store and it has been weeks with no response. I tried reaching out to several shopify support team members but they always say that i just need to wait for a response from the escalated ticket in regards with this issue.
I can not believe such a simple issue can be this much of a headache. Is there anyone on here that has any suggestions of what i can do?
My old store is fully reactivated with no pending billing issues. I have contacted several shopify support representatives through their live chat and have had a ticket for this problem that was escalated but i have not received any update yet. Each shopify support representative just says to wait for the team to reply to my escalation ticket.
I'm having the same issue with ZERO support from Shopify - did you manage to get a resolution?
