Hi,

 

I have upgraded to Shopify Plus and I am creating a US / Global expansion store. Can I use the same ad account tracking code or do I need to set up seperate accounts for Ad Platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok) and add different pixels / tracking code.

 

Also, for Google Product feed, do I need new Google Merchant account to set up a new product feed which is just for the US (which has different pricing)?

When it comes to ad accounts and tracking, you’ve got a couple of options. You can technically use the same ad account and tracking codes, but since you're expanding into new markets, you might want to consider setting up separate ad accounts for better control over targeting, budgeting, and reporting. This can also make it easier to track performance per region, especially if you're running different campaigns for the US market. It’s not a hard rule, but it might simplify things for you in the long run.

As for Google Product Feed, yes, you’ll need a new Google Merchant account if you're planning to create a separate product feed with different pricing for the US. Google needs the feed to match the local market, so having a US-specific Merchant account with adjusted pricing makes sense here.
