Long time eBay seller looking to try out Shopify as it would allow me to push product listings to other platforms.
When creating a product in Shopify the first thing I notice is that there are no fields for item specifics that are required and/or strongly recommended by eBay. These fields are critical when it comes to getting traffic to listings on eBay.
I know there is a way to create additional custom fields in Shopify, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about that. Also, if I did figure that out I don't know exactly how to ensure that those custom fields sync with the corresponding item specifics when the product is ported over to eBay.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here? I would really appreciate the help!

I am wondering the same thing. I know the item specifics partiality show in the eBay channel connector but not all of them. It is a. It frustrating to have to toggle between eBay and Shopify to make sure I have all the specifics. Unless I am missing something?
