I received a notice when I tried to buy a shipping label today. "TO BUY SHIPPING LABELS FOR THIS LOCATION, THE FOLLOWING CHANGES HAVE TO BE MADE: We're currently reviewing your account. If the issue is not resolved within 2 business day please contact shipping-ops@shopify."
I have things to ship and this hold is not good. Is there anything I can do about it other than wait ? i tried Chat and they were nice enough to forward a note to the correct department. Anyone have insight on this issue ?

Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry you are not able to buy shipping labels at the moment.
Were you able to reach out to shipping-ops@shopify.com? Because your ability to purchase labels through Shopify Shipping is temporarily disabled, you must buy labels from a carrier off the platform or through a post office directly.

Hello, I am having the same issue. I just sent an email to reach out to shipping ops. Will my account be enabled to ship? Or will I have to buy labels from the post office to complete the orders.

What are the reasons that an account would go into review or events that would trigger this process? I am having the same problem. Would buying a label to mail to yourself count? I seem to not be the only person that has gotten flagged. Is this a known problem?

just recent, couple days. im just hoping this wont happen when someone puts in a order cause everything is on hault right now
I'm having this problem also! Did you guys have the issue resolved? I've emailed and contacted support and just been waiting for solution, Very worrying as its put a hold on everything.

Has your issue been fixed? This makes me a little worried that people have been having this issue for some time. I just started a small business and heard great things about Shopify and we get our first order and have this issue?!?!
Hey mate the issue did get resolved but took some time,
Alternatively you can download a shipping carrier app and fulfill your orders though the app that way and ship right away

I use the joovii auspost app or joovii sendle app both work the same, easy setup and works well

In a situation like the one the original poster described you would still be able to do business as normal. The only restriction would be on the use of Shopify Shipping to buy your shipping labels. We would recommend continuing to fulfill orders as normal by buying your labels outside of Shopify, or through a shipping label purchase app. If you are experiencing issues with your checkout or customers not being able to place orders, that would be a different matter and I would recommend contacting our support in our Help Center for further assistance.

Did you fix the issue im having the same thing
I am in the middle of running a 500K sales per year business and this has happened to me; Needless to say I am beyond pissed. No explanation of why it just stopped cold turkey. And I missed quite a few deliveries because I had to hustle and buy labels elsewhere. Customers depend on me for service and products and I depend on Shopify for service; which I pay for. I suggest an explanation when you pull the rug out from someone.
Im dealing with the same issue I have tons of orders to ship and this has never happened before.
This looks to be a known issue with little to no documentation. @Shopify can we get better documentation and error handling for this?

This just happened to me. Just opened my shop. Received my first 50 orders. Go to fulfill them and this happened. Can anyone help me figuring out how to ship my stuff not through shopify shipping while this is happening? This means I lose the ability to use Shopifys emails to notify my customers of tracking right? How did you guys get around this and notify your customers of tracking? Thanks so much (This is unacceptable and infuriating but need solutions in the meantime).
Hey mate, We had this problem- search the App Store for a local shipping provider that you would use in your country they should have an app or there will be an app that uses these shippers, download and integrate into your store you will have to make and account also, then you can fulfill your orders through the app, your customers will receive tracking number this way too! This is what we had to do and this is the way we still fulfil our orders.
