All things Shopify and commerce
Hey Everyone,
I have been with shopify for about 3 months now, in the second month they held my payments after one chargeback. i still have not received it. I see a lot of people dealing with this and it usually happens to everyone and they hold it up to 120 days, it ain't fair but what can you do? i contacted them multiple times and still they are "escalating" the case even though it "escalated" 5 times.
My question is, if it gets held once, will it get held again? i don't wanna use it if it is just gonna keep getting held on a singular chargeback or even multiple.
However i see sites still using shopify payments even when they process over 10000 orders a month, with the same verification process i use and in the same niche. so im wondering how it works.
does it keep holding your payments everytime? if so which third party processor for high risk digital good merchants would you guys recommend? thank you for your time!
Hi @Hkand !
Shopify only puts on hold to Shopify payments account if there are any verification needed though, once you already submitted all the documents needed for verification or any problems that they encountered on your account has been cleared out, they will no longer hold your Shopify payments unless there are some information changed on your account.
Hello, i submitted all the information and id they needed but it still has not yet lifted the hold and i have contacted them multiple times regarding this, is there any express solution?
