Shopify is trying to charge me $60,000 in transaction fees

I had fraudulent orders on my website for $1.5+ million which obviously got declined from authorize.net but Shopify still tried to charge me the 2% transaction fee. They’ve closed my store for non payment. I’ve talked to several people at Shopify and they are telling me that they don’t waive transaction fees no matter what and it’s in their terms of service. Is there anything I can do?
