Hi Guys
I add custom attributes to my order and recently when I view the order in the Shopify admin I can see that some attributes value have become "[FILTERED]". Does anyone know what it means? I tried to reproduce this but had no success, does anyone have the same issue?
The amount of possible things going on there is too high for clean way to troubleshoot.
Try an order with common swear words to make sure this isn't the platform doing something.
If theme has been customized to have custom product filtering that in some way operates with the product pages look there.
Contact the customer and ask what they entered.
Then try to reproduce the steps they took to make the cart and checkout.
If it keeps happening you should setup analytics to detect when a customers cart attribute contain FILTERED.

Thanks. I think you are right it is a Shopify issue. I know what the value could be and I don't see any reason that they need to be FILTERED. Let's see if Shopify can fix this soon.
