Shopify payment currency/country converter not working on website

Hi all,

When I click on any country/currency to change on my website,

 

it does not change the first time I click and only changes the second time I attempt to change the country/currency. I've also noticed that when I attempt to change it the second time it changes to the country/currency I initially selected in my first attempt if that makes sense.
I am only seeing this odd behavior on the desktop and not on mobile. I was not seeing this behavior before so I am guessing one of the apps or the few minor changes I made to the code may have triggered this.

I am using the Dawn theme and the website is below

I'd really appreciate any kind of help as the shopify chat support were not able to figure it out either.
