Shopify payment - manual payment

I would like to delete a MAnual Shopify payment that i have created, i have only one option to desactivate.

How can I delete it ?

Hi @jon_paris,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with removing manual payments, to ensure this gets resolved. 

As it currently stands, manual payments are unable to be deleted as they are integrated and attached to orders themselves. If deleted, any orders that used the manual payment would be unable to fetch the associated payment information. As I can completely understand how this may not be ideal, I'm more than happy to make note of this limitation with our developers. We are always looking for ways to improve the platform and appreciate the feedback. 

To work around this, you can deactivate the manual payment that you no longer want to support, by checking out our Manual Payment Methods documentation. It outlines, this can be achieve by: 

• Heading to Settings > Payments, from the Shopify admin. 

• In the Manual payment methods box in the Payment providers area, click Manage next to the manual payment method that you want to deactivate.

• Click the deactivate payment method button.

• Click the deactivate payment method button again to confirm.

are there any updates on the cancellation of manual payments? Is this a function that may be implemented in the future or will it remain like this forever?
