As it currently stands, manual payments are unable to be deleted as they are integrated and attached to orders themselves. If deleted, any orders that used the manual payment would be unable to fetch the associated payment information. As I can completely understand how this may not be ideal, I'm more than happy to make note of this limitation with our developers. We are always looking for ways to improve the platform and appreciate the feedback.
To work around this, you can deactivate the manual payment that you no longer want to support, by checking out our Manual Payment Methods documentation. It outlines, this can be achieve by:
Heading to Settings > Payments, from the Shopify admin.
In theManual payment methodsbox in thePayment providersarea, clickManagenext to the manual payment method that you want to deactivate.
Click the deactivate payment method button.
Click the deactivate payment method button again to confirm.
