All things Shopify and commerce
Hi there, my store is https://sophiaandpilar.com in Australia and I have Shopify Payments enabled:
However at checkout, guests are only being presented with Shop Pay:
Could the community help me understand why this is?
Thanking you as always
What you're seeing are the "accelerated" checkout options that allow your customers to quickly checkout using one of the listed payment types. Your customers should be able to bypass these options if they choose and manually enter their information in the checkout. Should they choose this route, then they will see the available credit card options you have enabled on the "payment" screen of the checkout process.
Note: The accelerated checkout options all accept major credit cards, even if they don't specifically show the logos on the buttons themselves.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

@Trevor Thanks! Makes sense. The 'Checkout' button only appears when I hover over it so it's a bit confusing for the shopper. Probably a design/UI question for how to make the Checkout button appear permanently!
I would agree. Based on the screenshot, you're seeing this in the cart drawer correct? Is this a Shopify free theme or a third-party theme that you're using?
