What will the impact of this error message on my site:
"Shopify Payments sales pause in 17 days."
We entered our information and documentation in the Shopify site. Apparently Shopify business verification team needs to do more work to verify us. Some minor mismatching or something.
They have been sitting on this issue for 2 weeks now. i have chatted with over 7 reps and the support reps can provide me no real useful information at all as to when they will resolve this issue.
But what will happen after my 17 days are up? Will customers still be able to check out in our store? I understand that Shopify will not transfer my funds to us because of this issue. But its a bigger concern if customers cannot complete their purchases.
This is a big issue. Why is Shopify not doing anything to resolve these issues in a timely manner for it's customers?

That warning means that if the issue isn’t resolved within 17 days, Shopify Payments will be disabled, meaning customers won’t be able to check out using it. However, your store will still be active, and you can use alternative payment providers like PayPal, third-party credit card processors, or manual payment methods to keep sales going.
Since Shopify’s verification process can sometimes take time due to compliance checks, I’d recommend:
What is the Email to reach out to? What is the phone number to speak with a person? The only support they offer is the chat and the resources manning the chat are unable to help me except say "They are working on it".
