All things Shopify and commerce
Hello, I'd need to solve the problem of pixelating mockups/images.
Before I upload them on Shopify, they are nice and crisp, then once on Shopify, they are pixelated especially on black and dark variants. I don't use any image optimizer app.
Here is example you can see - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p6tgQOVk_PzE4ZbMHDT7sr9rpEMFfhf7/view?usp=sharing
There are factors for this stuff so there are numerous posts about them available if you search the forum.
If this is from an image url on the frontend of a theme there may be nothing to fix as the theme is serving reasonable file sized images so you don't swamp the customers browser with 10's of megabytes of media.
Such urls often contain the exact resizing that has happened.
Or the shopify server is generating a webp image.
If this is on the product media itself in the admin, i.e. the master image, then you should probably contact shopify support directly and have them explain it.
