All things Shopify and commerce
Hello fellow shopifiers,
I just tried to launch my 2nd shopify store around the music accessories niche and for seemingly no reason, facebook blacklisted my store. I cannot do any advertising at all or even post a link to my store on groups (I looked for help on shopify group but couldn't even paste the url ...). Pixel is set up properly and I had no issues with my previous store.
The error coming up is : 1885260. Wich states that website content is inapropriate. I have no idea why since it is a simple music store. I've been working on my store for 3 weeks, setting up, finding products, making the logo etc. Facebook help wasn't of any help and they sent me this :
"Nous vous remercions d’avoir pris le temps de nous envoyer un signalement. Nous n’apportons actuellement aucune assistance individuelle pour ce type de problème, mais ces informations nous aideront à identifier des bogues sur notre site."
Shortened translation : "Thank you for reporting the bug, we do not take care of individual issues."
I know the issue is from facebook but have you heard of anything like that before ? Do you guys see a way to avoid rebuilding another site from scratch ?
Thanks a lot !
PS : Here's the store in question : https://apolloguitar.com/
Hi, did you get this problem solved? This happened to me too. We didn't nothing and facebook just block my domain completely! It's a brand new store! We sell silver jewelry.
Got the same problem. Can someone help?
The same happened to me. Does anybody have any solution?
I have same issue. I sent so many messages to facebook. But no answer.
I've got the same problem!
A lot of work put into my store and can't get a singel ad out!
I'm very frustrated. If anyone has the solution then please let me know!
Has anyone found a reply to this yet? Same thing happened to me and I can't even get in touch with anyone from FB to findout the reason why it happened. If anyone knows a reliable email or chat function to get in touch with FB or better still, the solution to the problem, could you please let me know? thanks.
The same issue here, and Facebook doesn't even indicate which part violated the so-called security policy, so I'm not even sure it's a Shopify problem. But since so many people have met this issue, I think Shopify should check it up and do something.
1. Convert your Instagram Account to a Personal Account, then back again (they may reset your Business reporting statistics)
2. Clear your Mobile Cache
3. Logout of Facebook mobile/ IG desktop
4. Reset IG connection on the Page and App
5. Uninstall the IG App and update it
