Shopify store scam

Hello in late February I posted about needing help generating sales. I had someone who messaged me and said hey you’re gonna receive someone who can help you generate sales in your inbox. I received a message from someone and I really thought that this was someone that Shopify sent. This person literally had me pay them over $1000 and I did not see the results that they promised.. how do we get a list of  vetted businesses, or marketers who can help generate Shopify sales. This was extremely disappointing to come here to the community and ask for help and have someone answer my response, but not be who I thought they would be

Hello there @Jfcoffee; You are not the only one at this phase, I was as well scammed last two month with an expert who claimed to help me get 10k sales which i believe because i am also new here and to shopify entirely but unfortunately to me after paying him around 2500Eur, he decide to blocked me and stop chatting with me. So take heart. I actually learn a way to make sales by yourself as a store owner through my mentor, So let's share love. I would like to share with you those strategies that am using currently that's working for me. By myself with the help of the strategies from the mentor i was able to make my first 1500$ by myself without paying anyone else. Let me know if you want strategies recommendation?
