The company rakes in billions, deals directly with business owner, yet can't be bothered to have any form of actual human interaction support. And no, those chat bots aren't human.
How does a company raking in over $3 billion from other business owners each year not have dedicated phone support?!
Hey @GregJones55
Shopify does have a human live chat support at https://help.shopify.com/. You just have to make sure you're logged in into a Shopify account and tell your problem to the AI support and after that just simply ask the AI to connect you with a live human support and it will do that.

Those chat bots are not human. Just got done talking to one that did absolutely nothing but ask me redundant questions I already answered and parroted my responses back to me.
By chat bots I'm literally referring to those "people" you're speaking of. They are worthless. And it is utterly insane that they're literally the only "support" this massive company offers its users outside of email correspondence that takes days for 2 sentence replies.
I get your frustration—it’s tough when you need real help and only get bots or limited support options. Shopify focuses on live chat, email, and community forums to handle support, likely due to the volume of users. While they don’t offer phone support, their live chat is supposed to connect you with a human eventually, though it can take time. Many businesses rely on forums or third-party experts for quicker help. It would be great if Shopify reconsidered adding phone support for more complex issues.
