Shopify Trust & Safety team have sent me an email threatening to terminate my store.

I was contacted by the Shopify Trust & Safety team and asked to provide "authorized reseller verification" for the football jerseys I sell. I don't know what files they want me to upload and who they want them from. Nike, Adidas? All they've listed is that the brand that owns the trademark is "football jerseys". Who is football jerseys? The thing I'm upset about is that it clearly says in the email if I have any questions, to reply directly to the email. I've replied three times in 3 days. No help.

I had to contact the Shopify help centre (who have always been amazing) and they got the date pushed back to October 14th. I don't know what to do or who to contact and I feel it is unfair as I am going to lose my website that I have spent 3 months creating and I will lose it due to slow replies. Please help if you can.

Hi Felix,

A few questions when reading the above.

1. What is preventing you providing supplier invoices / authorisation from where you have purchased these jerseys?
2. What have shopify customer support already advised?

I had a store a few years ago in which was "striked" for selling copyrighted goods - luckily i had letters of authority to sell them, from suppliers / brands, i inputted the documents and after roughly 24 hours my store was back up like nothing had happened . My suggestion would be contacting your supplier to obtain something in relation to authorisation to sell these items.

It may also be possible that you cannot resell the items you are trying to, unless second-hand of course.

1. Nothing, but I just wasn't sure that the Shopify team was asking for that, as they just stated that the rightsholder was "Football jerseys". I'll contact suppliers now and take your word for it and hopefully I can keep my store.
2. They just tell me they can't help with the trust and safety team and they advise me to directly reply to the email.
