Shopify voting section on website

I am looking to add an interactive section to my Shopify website where customers and I can post ideas and photos. I would also like visitors to be able to vote on their favorite ideas or photos.

Specifically, I am seeking:

1. Recommendations for apps or tools that can enable this functionality.
2. Advice on implementing a custom solution 
3. Best practices for ensuring secure and user-friendly uploads and voting.
