I'm tring to see if a customer from Canada can get a product shipped to them.  So I try to buy a product on my website.  But my website remembers my name and email - and I cannot find a way to tell it to treat me as a new customer, so i can enter a shipping address in canada.

How do I get my shopify website to forget me?

1. Clear Cookies and Cache

Shopify stores session data in your browser. To "forget" your information:

  1. Open your browser settings.
  2. Navigate to Privacy > Cookies and other site data.
  3. Clear cookies specifically for your store's domain or clear all cookies (note this will log you out of other websites too).

2. Use Incognito or Private Browsing Mode

Most browsers offer a private browsing mode that doesn't retain session data:

  1. Open your browser in Incognito Mode (Ctrl+Shift+N on Windows, Command+Shift+N on Mac).
  2. Visit your store and proceed with your test order.

3. Test Using a Different Browser or Device

Another quick way to bypass saved session data is to:

  • Open your website in a different browser.
  • Use a different device (like a mobile phone or tablet).

4. Log Out of Your Customer Account

If you're logged in to a customer account on your store:

  1. Scroll to the Account section (or wherever your login/logout button is).
  2. Log out to ensure your session is reset.

5. Disable Autofill in Your Browser

If your browser autofills your details:

  1. Go to your browser settings.
  2. Disable autofill or delete saved data related to your name and email.

By following any of these steps, Shopify will treat you as a new customer, allowing you to test the shipping process with a new address.
