All things Shopify and commerce
I need to update a price on a product, but Shopify won't save it. I've cleared my cache. Logged out and back in. After updating the price, I click the save button, but it doesn't save and keeps asking me to save the changes repeatedly. Tried all the different save buttons on the page. Still nada. How do I fix this?

Just replying to report that I had to take this to Shopify chat. They were super helpful and kind. The issue had to be escalated to the technical team, but by this evening they have it fixed. So, if you are facing the same issue, try the chat option.
In fact, it won't save anything. Just tried to add a new product and it won't save that either. (It was already in there I just hadn't changed it to active yet.)
Same issue here
Hi there! Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
1. Check if you have any browser extensions installed? They might be interfering with the saving process. Try disabling one-by-one them temporarily and see if you can save the changes then.
-> Or try incognito first (since it will have no extensions) active
2. Check if there are any special characters or symbols in the price field. Sometimes, these can cause issues with saving. Try removing them and see if that helps.
3. Try using a different browser or device to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, the problem can be related to the browser or device you're using.
4. If none of the above works, try reaching out to Shopify support for further assistance. They can take a closer look at your store and help you resolve the issue.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

...or maybe just post the solution for us all as you came here in the first place looking for a solution from community members
I never found a solution. I had to contact Shopify support, and they had to fix something on the store's backend. Sorry that wasn't clear in my reply above. If yours is doing the same now, the fastest way to get it fixed is likely to contact support via chat. I hope you get your issue solved! Happy New Year!
