Short Term Pause & Build

We're looking to do a soft launch of our store and would like to allow folks to access the store, build wish lists and browse but not place orders for a 2-3 day window. It seems that pause & build would do this but is there any limitation or issue with going into pause and build mode for a couple days and then back on another plan?
