I made a new store and purchased a new domain on the first of the year. I verified my email. The next morning it was inactivated and i was asked to submit an appeal, which I promptly filled out. i have since had several different chats with reps about the issue who have promised to escalate the issue. I’ve also submitted two more appeals with more details. my site is still inactive after almost a month.

@md1231  Sorry to hear about your issue. Since you've already appealed and followed up multiple times, I’d recommend reaching out directly to Shopify’s Account Integrity team via email or asking support to escalate the case to them specifically. They’re the ones who handle store inactivation issues. Persistence is key—hope this gets resolved for you soon!

Do you know the direct email for the account integrity team? Thing is, the issue was escalated a few times already.

Update: the site and domain was finally reactivated after almost TWO months. That’s the good news!

However, Shopify it is unacceptable to have the site/access down for that long with absolutely no feedback. Get more reps who are authorized to actually review sites and reactivate them to remedy these situations and not just direct me to a form that I’ve already filled out.  Unfortunately, this has created a strong reluctance to use Shopify, as I don’t trust the company to efficiently handle customer service issues, which could be very risky for an e-commerce business using it as a platform. On top of all that, no explanation was provided as to why it was deactivated in the first place. I’m left to speculate and hope I don’t accidentally do something wrong again. The definitely of poor customer service.
