All things Shopify and commerce
Hello,
I successfully submitted the sitemap for my store, and it was accepted by Google Search Console. However, despite the successful submission, it shows that 0 URLs have been indexed.
With over 2,000 products in my store, it's unusual that none of them are being detected or indexed. This issue has also resulted in the suspension of my Google Merchant Center account. Additionally, it seems the website hasn't updated at all since its early stages, before I even officially launched my store.
Could you please help me understand the cause of this issue and provide guidance on how to resolve it? Here you can find my website: https://exclufy.com/
Thank you.

Hi @Exclufy
It’s completely normal for your Page Discoveries to show as 0 right after submitting your sitemap to Google Search Console. This number will gradually increase over time. I’ve checked, and your store is already appearing with more pages in Google search results, so you might want to double-check that https://prnt.sc/IjFlXyOf6W4v
Additionally, submitting an XML sitemap is simply a way to notify Google, but with 2,000 products, you can't expect everything to be indexed after just one submission. It could take several months for Google to fully index all the pages on your store. To speed up the indexing process, consider adding internal links between your pages. This helps Google discover more pages during the crawl.
I hope this helps!
Best regards,
Daisy
Did you check the site map file itself to make sure all the product pages are included? (ran into this once ourselves with a sitemap we didn't generate properly)

I appreciate the reassurance about the indexing process and your insights on how it works. I’ll monitor the gradual increase in page discoveries as Google continues to crawl my store, and I'll definitely work on adding more internal links between pages to help speed up the indexing.
Thank you for clarifying!
Dear @Exclufy,
You're very welcome! It's an honor to assist you, and I'm delighted that the information was helpful 🙂
Warm regards,

The suspension with Google Merchant Center will be different, and most likely due to missing items on the website.
It's very common for new websites selling shoes to get suspended, as Google can not see if there are any trust signals. So best to first build up your reputation and get real reviews.
As your website is only 29 days old, and you already have reviews, something tells me they are fake. Google does not accept merchants that are misleading consumers or google.
Thank you for the feedback and insight into the Google Merchant Center suspension.
