Sites Being Taken Down that Don't Use SHOPIFY Themes

Has anyone just had Shopify disable their store for not using one of Shopify's themes? Today, after years of being on the platform ours was suddenly taken down with no prior notice due to some supposed site theme 'conflict' that no support person we have spoke with can pinpoint what the issue was...
