As of last night the shopify app was showing a connection error when i tried to view recent store activity; and this morning i confirmed that i cannot reliably access the admin backend for my store (i get a 500 error or a "server error" popup three quarters of the time, one quarter of the time it loads ok). The store itself seems to up and Shopify status page says everything is operational, but something is clearly wrong, and i would rather nip it in the bud. Have tried on my phone, desktop, and using Firefox and Chrome browsers.

 

How do i report this problem?

This may present as a 500 error. There are currently no work arounds.

me too, I have the same popup saying 500, server error. I cleaned all the cookies, and tried with another browser, still didnt work.

Just to follow up, shopify is now saying there was an error but it is resolved, however for my site it seems to have gotten worse as nothing on the back end is loading now (500 error).

How do we report an issue with Shopify?
It looks like our website is working but we cannot access our orders. 
When I look at the status page for issues it says these were resolved. They need to keep looking into this because it has not been fixed.

There is no one available to help we can t even reach teh shopify agents now , i have 150 plus orders waiting to be shipped its such a big blunder

Same, i got a 500 error and the issue is: Some merchants are encountering issues with their Shopify Admin and POS Systems. This is the first time I encounter problem to get to Shopify, so how long does it take for them normally to fix the problem.

I CAN JUST LOG IN INTO THE SHOPIFY AND SEE 500 ADMIN ERRO COMPLETE ADMIN HAS DISSPEARED

Seems to be fixed, but now all products on Merchant center got errors.. will this be fixed waiting?

Nope not fixed yet its still showing  500 admin error , complete disaster at wrong time , as we have peak season going on

Everytime I am log into Shopify on my Mac book safari I get this error (pasted below.) I already contacted both apple and Shopify and their only answer is to clear cookies and website history and none of that worked. My safari is up to date, as its on auto update. Has anyone else had this issue in the past or have any solutions? It would be much appreciated, thank you.

Same problem here, and google merchant is displaying error on all products... all with no images and offers...

  • No one to talk to.   Horrible customer service.   Looking for another company.   Shopify is horrible.   It keeps happening.   Over and over.  
  • No phone line to speak to anyone.   Can't access chat because server is down. 
  • No where to turn to. 

Rebate for lost sales?  No.  They don't care. 

 

Any recommendations out there for a better host?  One that has customer service?

 

Greedy.  Corporate Greed.  This is nonsense.

Even the shopify downtime is monitored and they dont even report hoenstly about their shut downs

App is working but my warehouse cant access the orders they are 150 plus to be shipped , cant access anuthing in shopify , cant pull off the data from shopify to WMS

Have just spent an hour with 'Server Error' when simply adding an image file, less than 100KB. Happens on all browsers and formats. 

I notice this is an issue documented back to 2020 - while notes of it being solved are listed, it's obvs not resolved. 

 

Is there some fix or guidance please? Otherwise might have to try something else. 

 

If this in idicative, I cannot run a business on something this sensitive and requiring this much effort for basic tasks...

Now, the site won't even load.

BUT when we go to your updates page it says there are no issues. Take a look. 
I have been able to get into out Admin and POS now. I cleared our cache but I don't know if that did the trick 
or Shopify did something. 
We've had issues all morning.
It's a good thing I came in today because my coworker would not have known 
what to do.

J'ai eu ce problème tout d'un coup sur shopify et je n'arrive pas à m'en débarrasser même à l'aide du lien en bleu "page de statut". Je n'ai donc plus accès au admin page. Pouvez-vous m'eclaircir ou arranger le problème, merci.
