I would like to set up a shop for the Japan market. Can I make it bilingual in English (for expats here) and Japanese (for regular Japanese customers? That is, can the user interface and also the product descriptions be bilingual? I understand I would need to provide the product descriptions.
Also, if both dollars and yen are accepted, is final payment just to one bank - for example my Japanese bank? Or can dollars be deposited to my bank in the U.S. and yen deposited to my bank in Japan, thus saving on currency exchange costs?

This is an accepted solution.
For one store, you can set up multiple language for different country. So you can support clients to select different language for your store.

Hi. A followup question. If I decide to have my shop bilingual in English and Japanese, can I adjust the prices so they look like "normal" prices in U.S. dollars and Japanese yen. For example, so a Japanese yen price ends up as 980 yen instead of something weird like 984 yen?
Thanks.
