All things Shopify and commerce
Hello my shop is : vitalbites.shop
I set the page up as usuall. But this time its ending with .shop
The page sometimes takes too long too load, it gets stuck on a white screen, but the indicator shows its laoding.
But sometimes it loads normally, fast, as it should. What is the problem here? I doubt its because of too much content, I thinks it has something to do with the domain.
Thank you
Hi @Bon2828
Sometimes, it is normal that page doesn't load quickly, it may be due to network connection or some similar issue.
If this issue is continuous, you can contact shopify support or your domain provider as well to get the more details if there is something from their side
OR If you have paid theme then you can consult with theme support as well regarding it
Thanks!
page is coming back unresponsive so I cannot check the image sizes, etc. wha exactly did you do to the domain? who did you buy the domain from? it certianly has some issues
i bought the domain from checkdomain.de
Ive been using the provider for over a year, I never had problems with it.
I did nothing special to the domain, just the usual things shopify told me to put in.
one thing i noticed was that the "A entry" changed, Shopify told me to put in 23.227.38.65 but then said its wrong (it wasnt, I copied it) and gave me a new one 23.227.38.71

if you changed a DNS record it can take anywhere from 4 to 48 hours to propagate throughout all locations. you can look here to see how it is going https://dnschecker.org/
Hi, @Bon2828
Sometimes, your network or VPN may get stuck and become unstable due to weather or other issues. Don't be afraid of that.
If the problem still doesn’t work, you can test on a different network. Try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa. If your website loads on mobile data but not on Wi-Fi, your internet provider may be blocking the site. Restart your router and try again.
If you're worried about site speed, you can use a speed test like "https://pagespeed.web.dev/" to check your speed and find any issues to optimize. Sometimes, you need to remove unnecessary code and streamline the backend structure to get a faster loading speed and a better user experience. Also, check if your website contains large-sized elements and optimize them accordingly.
Additionally, you can install our app and use the Site Speed Up feature to boost page speed with just one click. Our app doesn’t add extra code that could slow down your site. Plus, you can enjoy a 7-day free trial and 40% off with the code "SEOAnt-40%OFF". Feel free to try it out and reach out to us anytime!
