I am having an issue with my sort filter not working. There is something wrong with coding, which is not my forte. We offer a lot of different color/choices of products on our page. However, suddenly the sorting on the left side of our pages is not functioning. It allows you to click however, it won't "hold" the checkmark in the box that you click, if that makes sense. We just want our customers to be able to choose from color/wire color/etc to make their shopping experience easier. Including screenshots to show the type of sorting we

This require a custom coding. In order to fix that please p/m me so that I provide you solution code for that.
A unknown Js conflict with that.
@hannahemarcum 👋 was the theme customized or are you using a third party app?
If any changes were made recently including installing frontend affecting apps, restore a theme backup or disable new apps and retest.
Further UX issue,
That area should say "filter products" not "sort products' as there is already a different sort dropdown.
Unless you've ab-tested that to prove customers need that your probably created unnecessary confusion.
