Hi there! I was just wondering if anyone knew a way to set up an automatic split between the payout coming into your shopify between two different bank accounts? I contacted Shopify and they let me know that as far as they were concerned, it wasn't possible. I also read somewhere that you would have to make your own private app to set up something like that. Yikes!
Does anyone know of any othern easier alternatives?
Thanks.
Hey,
I'm Aria, a Social Care guru at Shopify.
If you're referring to the Payouts that go from Shopify Payments to your bank account, it's not possible to split them between two accounts. There's only room to put one bank account at a time in your Shopify Payments account. An app wouldn't help you there either as the money goes straight from our gateway to your account.
I'm guessing you're working with a business partner and that's the reason you want to do this. Perhaps you could open a joint bank account or business bank account that you both have access to. 50% of the funds could then be transferred out of that account, into each of your own accounts if that's what you want to do.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

We'd love to have this option. We would preferably put all of our Shipping revenue and tax revenue in separate accounts automatically.
Is there no way to do this?
Hello!!
Thank you so so much.
I have an additional question. Where in the code can I change the text of this giftcard?
It would be of much help!
Hey hey,
Are you guys still looking for something like this? We want to build this for our business, would you use it if we made it into a shopify app?
I would love to!! I actually need it as a third party business
Have there been any updates to this thread? For accounting and tax purposes, I do not want to have all proceeds across various countries lumped together in one account.
