Hi Team, I connected my custom domain to Shopify store but it is SSL pending for a week already. I'm blocked to use this custom domain and causing a huge loss. Can you please expedite the SSL process?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with your domain, to ensure this gets resolved. To confirm I'm fully understanding, have you connected a third-party domain to the shop?

 

If so, I'd recommend confirming that the DNS Records are correctly pointing to Shopify. These settings can be located by heading over to your domain provider. If you're having some troubles with this, I'd encourage you to connect with the third-party domain provider directly as they will be able to share more information with you. To learn more about connecting your domain, you can check out our Third-Party Domains document as it touches on this further.

 

The DNS Records must match the following: 

 

  • Point the A record to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65.
  • If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol.
  • Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
  • Point the CNAME record with the name www to shops.myshopify.com

 

If you have confirmed the DNS Records are correctly pointing to Shopify and more than 48 hours have passed, please feel free to connect with us directly. This will allow our support team to investigate further, as we wouldn't have access to any account specific information through the Community. They will be able to determine why it's stuck in a pending state and ensure it gets resolved.
