SSL PENDING

I am reaching out for assistance regarding an issue I’ve encountered while setting up my Shopify store’s DNS.

Recently, I connected my Hostinger account to Cloudflare in order to secure a branded email address for free. Following this setup, I attempted to connect my Shopify DNS. I updated the necessary DNS records on Cloudflare as per Shopify’s instructions. However, I am now encountering an “SSL Pending” status in my Shopify account.

Despite waiting for the propagation and ensuring that the DNS records are correctly configured in Cloudflare, the SSL certificate status remains pending. I understand that this might be due to the additional layer that Cloudflare adds, but I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Is there a recommended workaround or specific steps I should follow to successfully establish the SSL connection? I am keen to ensure my site is secure and fully operational.

Hi @Tousifm1 !

The system will take some time to process the DNS record updates especially if your domain is newly connected to your Shopify account. It will take around 48 hours for the SSL Pending status to disappear. Though, as long as your website is running, it should be good to go.
