All things Shopify and commerce
Hi,
Our goal is to create two discount codes that can stack. We have customer specific discount codes as we have customers with different percentages off. We want to stack on top of those codes another discount code that allows the balance to be zero as we will invoice the customers later. We want to do this so customers can see their specific code applies in the itemized list while not having them pay at checkout.
We set up the codes and selected that they would be combinable.
When we tried to test this with two test codes Shopify said it was not allowed. See image below. Is there another way to allow a customer to use their specific discount code while having another code to zero the balance?
Ted
If a product is already getting a discount from a code, it is no longer allowed to use another code. This is to protect your store from accidental discount creation. You can try third party applications as a workaround.
