I deactived my store a while ago but I am still being charged every month. How do I request a refund?

First, double-check if your store was fully deactivated by going to Shopify's account page. If it still shows active, you might not have fully completed the closure process.

 

If it was deactivated but you're still being charged, reach out to Shopify Support through their Help Center and request a refund. Be ready to provide proof, like cancellation confirmation emails or past invoices.

 

Also, check if you had any active app subscriptions—some third-party apps keep billing even after a store closes if not canceled separately. If that's the case, you’ll need to contact the app providers for refunds
