OK, so first a good job on setting up a store, there are a lot of products, collections, and information. Plus you seem to have done a lot on the SEO side. That is all good, but to be frank, that is not great looking store. It is just fine. It is a base, a good base but as it uses a default free theme that looks like so many other stores. But there are quite a few stores with that free theme which with some configuration and adjustments look good.
The first thing I check on the online store is contact information. You got just an email and that one is one from Gmail and not your own domain. But there is no business info, address, or phone. Something to have a bit of trust.
And for design here are some things that do not work for me:
- the whole site is too narrow, just 1000 px. Maybe that is good for responsibility but I think it cuts a space for content.
- The announcement slider, which could be easily just one sentence instead, now it is a bit distracting.
- The menu has too many items, I read somewhere that 7 is the max. Plus you have them in two rows and that is not too readable. You could have them all under Shop for example or split to 3-4 main ones.
- On your homepage, the first section has your email and a big link to the contact form. So when visitor first visit your site, the first link and the most important thing is to contact you. You should always first try to lead visitors to collections and to somehow interest them in buying. Can be a hero banner with link to collections or like the second section Top sellers.
- Top sellers is a good way to continue the visitor journey but images need to be bigger and maybe in a grid.
- Product collections are good except that product titles are too small 13px with often 4 rows are not too readable. And try to not have a sold out products o n featured collection. It does not look good.
- Collection pages, again a bit cramped, maybe to try 3 products in a row with slightly bigger product titles
- The product page and title is huge. Add to cart does not stand out as it should. The description is good and often long but would be better if it is full width, maybe below images
- There are no reviews and no other sections that would be specific to that product or in general for customer reassurance
- Did not notice items on sale, people do love to buy on sale.
Keep going, keep working on the store, sales will come.
But also do check some of the paid themes, not only do they look better, and have more sections and features but they are mostly
focused on conversion. It could help.
