All things Shopify and commerce
Most of our sales happen offline but we are building and expanding our online store. We're using a 3rd party app to sync, and import, our offline orders into Shopify. However, our main system Salesforce already generates an order confirmation and tracking email for these orders. I can't unselect Shopify to stop these emails, for these imported or synced orders. But we don't want customers getting multiple emails as it will be confusing. For offline orders we MUST HAVE Salesforce be the communication path.
How can I stop imported orders from sending these emails? Is there a workflow that could look at a tag on the imported orders and stop these emails?
Hey there @sunlighten-us You should have a look at this conversation in a previous community thread here https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-discussions/can-you-deactivate-the-order-confirmation-email/.... and see if there’s any information here that could be helpful for your current situation.
