All things Shopify and commerce
Hello,
We have a Shopify store. It was going well.
Until recently all of a sudden Shopify made our store inactive without any prior notice or telling the reason after they made our store inactive.
After that we've reached out to the support team multiple times without any resolution and explanation as to why the store got inactivated. The support team tries to reach to the risk team but is unable to get in contact with them - which I believe looks after these issues. All we have right now is the support ticket with the issue escalated from 4 days back.
We've even sent the risk team the documents that they asked for in an email sent to us. We're unclear as to why the store got deactivated in the first place and are confused in terms of what the next steps or timelines are.
Our products are mainly seasonal and sell the best in winter. We've spent a lot of time and resources to gear up for the season and as it started to take off, Shopify has made our store inactive. If we're not back asap we might have to close our business altogether.
Can someone please help us get this resolved? We've talked to Shopify Partners and they're charging us a lot of money so they can chat with support to try to get this resolved. However, we're not sure if that would make any difference.
Please let us know what we need to do to get this resolved.
I have seen multiple store owners report the same issue. It's distressing to see Shopify take stores down without a clear reason and impact something people's livelihood depends on in most cases. I am rooting for you and hope that @Shopify team takes restores it asap.
