Store discount price comparison not working (EU WORKS, USA DOESNT)

So I've been trying to figure this out for a week now.. The markdown price does not show on the web store for USA visitors. If i select the region to any EU country, it shows the markdown. But when I select the region as USA or go to my page with USA vpn, it just shows the regular price?

I dont understand why for EU it shows the compared price but not for united states.. (im only selling to usa so it doesnt even matter that eu works)

I have no public store yet since im deciding between few themes still.. I have tried a lot of different themes and they all have the same issue. It doesnt show price comparison for USD

Nevermind everyone! I had to add a variant to get it showing, doesnt make any sense to me why but it works now!
