Hey guys,

I'd like to ask why Stripe is not showing on my list of payment providers? My address is in the United States and Im pretty sure they are operating from there. I also haven't added any other payment methods.

Thanks a lot.

Hi there, @rockyboy!

For Shopify stores based in the USA, the following payment gateways are available for use.

Is there some specific functionality you're looking for offered by Stripe that is not available on other gateways like Shopify Payments?

Let us know what you're looking for in a gateway so we can explore the options available to you where you are.

Are you setting up a new store, or have you been in business a while already?

Hey! Thanks for the reply.

Just opening a new store but in the business for quite some time now.

How would I know if everything is all good on Shopify payments already? Like how will I know if its ready to use, how to not have payment holds, etc.

Thanks!

There could be a few reasons why Stripe is not appearing on your list of payment providers:

  1. Availability: While Stripe operates in the United States, it might not be available in certain regions or countries within the United States. Double-check if Stripe is available in your specific location.

  2. Platform integration: Ensure that the platform you are using for payments supports integration with Stripe. Some platforms have specific payment providers they work with, so it's worth confirming if Stripe is compatible with your platform.

  3. Account setup: Make sure you have completed the necessary setup steps to enable Stripe as a payment provider. This may include creating a Stripe account, verifying your identity, and linking it to your platform.

If you've considered these factors and are still experiencing issues, it may be helpful to reach out to Stripe's customer support for further assistance.

If you have a Stripe account that solution works regardless your store’s location-country, and supports many payment methods supported by your Stripe account >> https://lnkd.in/diJN5YcB
