Struggling to connect Zoho Mail with my online store: How to fix?

Hi,

I wanted to create an email account for my shopify store. I first tried with google workspace but decided to switch to zoho mail. Unfortunately when following the steps to connect zoho mail to shopify...it keeps mentioning that my shopify domain name server is still connected to google domains. I then checked ICANN and indeed the name server still mentions "google domains".

Nameservers:

NS-CLOUD-E1.GOOGLEDOMAINS.COM

Before I switched to zoho mail I deleted my google workspace account.

Since the connection didn't work, I contacted zoho mail to fix the issue, they referred me to google workspace. I then contacted google workspace and they said it wasn't necessary to restore my workspace account as the issue lies with Shopify. So they referred me to now contact shopify support.

Can anyone help me fix the name server issue? I seem to be stuck in a loop with zoho mail, google workspace and shopify support.
