Hi everyone,

I've been running my store Air Up - The Ultimate Flavored Water Bottle with Air Up Pod Scents – Meeri, sells water bottles from various brands worldwide, along with drop shipping home products and gadgets. for a year now (since July 2023) and I'm facing some challenges that I need help with. Here are the details:

  • Orders: Only 17 orders in a year.
  • Traffic: I get around 30 visitors daily and about 3 abandoned carts per month.
  • Marketing Efforts: I do press release backlinks and guest posts from Icopify. I've been handling SEO myself.
  • Indexed Pages: I have 7300 pages indexed in Google Search Console, more than 65000 backlinks ,DA 9 
  • Site Speed: My site has very good speed.

Problems I'm Facing:

  1. All sales I've made are in one product category.
  2. None of my keywords are ranking in the top 10.
  3. High bounce rate.
  4. No stable sales or consistent visitor numbers.

Additionally, I'm incurring high costs with AVADA and Shopify monthly fees.

What can I do to improve my situation? I feel like I've hit a wall and can't move forward.

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Here are a few tips to help you understand why customers might not be buying and how to increase traffic and sales:

 

Scale the Category with Sales:

  • Focus on expanding the category where you already see sales and tailor your store and SEO to optimize for that category.

Diversify Traffic Sources:

  • Use additional traffic sources (at the very least, social media). Without adequate traffic, it’s hard to boost your SEO effectively.

Analyze Bounce Rate and Conversion:

  • A high bounce rate and low conversion can be due to issues with the store itself (interface, pricing, terms, etc.) or with the incoming traffic.
  • Investigate who is visiting your store and where they are coming from. It could be non-targeted visits.

Optimize Based on Data:

  • Use visit data to optimize your website.
  • Identify your main competitors and differentiate your positioning from theirs.

Experiment with Offers:

  • Continually test different offers to see what resonates best with your audience.

Hi Upsellise,

Thank you for your valuable insights and tips on improving traffic and sales. I have been implementing several strategies, including running sponsored campaigns across Canada, America, and Britain on platforms like Facebook, Google, Instagram, and TikTok. Unfortunately, despite receiving a substantial number of followers and likes, I am not seeing the actual conversions and purchase rates I hoped for.

My store designed best than original company in terms of offers, images, and content. Given this, I would appreciate any further advice on the following areas:
How get traffitc visitors from SEO online store and from SHOP ?
Is dropshipping without branding is not good for seo and can not get top ten position in search results , if my content not new special brand?
My cocept depend on sales water bottles from many brands not creating new brands for my company , exactly like shop sale T-shirts from NIKE , ADDIDAS ,..... Is SEO strategy is good for this situation as a marketing way , or not ?

Focus on Behavioral Factors:

  • To achieve good search rankings, user behavior is crucial. Users need to be interested in staying on your site and making purchases. A poor-performing store can't be boosted through SEO alone. First, work on improving your store's conversion rate and gaining traction, then optimize SEO.

Branding and Return Rates:

  • Branding alone isn’t a cure-all, but it helps with customer retention and indirectly boosts organic growth. Branding itself isn’t of major importance.
    • It would be helpful to see your store to understand what we’re dealing with.

SEO for Long-Term Growth:

  • SEO is important for long-term store growth. However, starting with SEO without an existing audience can be challenging. It's also important to consider whether this channel is relevant for your niche and how your audience usually finds products. For example, if 95% of water bottle buyers order them from marketplaces and never search for them online, SEO might not be the best focus.

Experiment with Different Channels:

  • Conduct a series of experiments with different channels to find what works best for your audience.
