Subscription based Newsletter with a 6 Month program at the beginning

My business focuses on teaching customers a skill through a 24-week course. Each week, the customer receives an email with new topics, challenges and tools that they will use to complete the challenge. 

At the end of the 6 month period I want the customers to automatically move into the general pool where they will receive our normal weekly email with challenges that allow them to apply what they learned. 

Because subscribers will sign at different times, the normal weekly general pool of emails cannot be sent to the subscribers that are in the initial 6 month program.

How can I use shopify to deliver a) the 6 month course in the form of 24 weekly emails that are automatically sent each week on a specified day and b) then have each customer move into a new segment that receives the general pool weekly email once they complete the program.

Hi @carlhealion Yes this can be possible, you can use shopify email and shopify flow to accomplish this, once the customer will be added in the store, you can add the tag on the customer and create a flow in which way you want to send the emails, once this email flow will be completed, then you can add the new tag, that will move those customer to the new flow where you can send your general email.

If you don't want to use the Shopify email and flow, then you can use Klaviyo or third party app, there as well you need to create the campaign and send it accordingly.

Thanks for the response Sahil. Seems like it is possible.

I wanted to ask a follow up question about the Tags. Is it possible to have a paying subscriber automatically move from the automated emails tag over to the general pool tag without my involvement or would I need to manually move each customer at the end of their 6 month course?

Hi @carlhealion You don't need to manually move the customer after 6 months a new tag will be added automatically so the customer will mover automatically from 24 weekly emails campaign to general weekly email campaign.
