Hi -
We've recently been finding that local pickup isn't working for some shops when items in the cart are being purchased on subscription. This isn't true for all shops (in fact it seems that it works well on most) but recently we've had a few Shopify Plus merchant who are unable to get the pickup location to display when the items in the cart are on subscription, though it works when the items are one-time purchases.
Shipping/pickup can be confusing but we've tried everything we can think of to make it work on these shops with no luck even though we can make it work pretty easily on most. I'll leave out direct references to the shops but I'm happy to provide them via direct message.
We tried using Shopify support to work through this but they were unable to provide a solution.
Here's what customers see in checkout:
You can see that there are locations that offer local pickup:
And they have the product set up to fulfill from those locations:
And you can see that when purchased as one-time it works as expected:
I'm not sure what other data I can provide. There are no shipping profiles other than general, though I don't think that should impact local delivery. Please let me know if there's more information that I could give to help troubleshoot. And again, happy to provide shop IDs and information via DM.
If it weren't for this issue recently coming up on a few Plus shops all within a week or two I probably would have overlooked it but it seems like its potentially an issue.

We have the same issue on a Shopify Plus store. So for this reason we can’t migrate to the new checkout.

I haven't tried reproducing it recently but I'd be surprised if there was any update. Since its 100% in shopify's control there's not much we can do to solve (I don't think)
Thanks for your answer, Brian. I also think that we can’t solve this problem without Shopify, it makes no sense that new features are worse than the old ones.
