Subscription/Membership App that allows members to skip month/s and product offer to change monthly.

I am wanting to create a port club (fortified wine).

Each month I will offer a unique bottle at a differing price. The offer will need to be renewed each month and so will the price.

Further, customers need the ability to choose to opt out of each months offer. (for whatever reason) But yet still remain a customer for the following month. If they 'cancel' I lose them as a customer. 

I require an app that supplies these key elements as a normal structure of the app. Not a fiddly work around, or yes the app does this and I need to pay people to handle this function monthly etc.

In basic, each month customers will receive an email outlining the new months offer. 

The customer then has a window of time to make a decision to 'opt out' which requires them to access their members portal and skip the new months offering. If a customer does nothing, they will be charged and a bottle sent to them etc. 

Does anyone have specific experience to this style of subscription/membership and also point to specific apps that integrate with shopify?

For what you’re looking to do, an app like Bold Subscriptions or Recharge could be a good fit. Both apps are built for flexible subscription models and should handle the opt-out feature you need.

With Bold, you can set up recurring offers that customers can skip each month through their member portal. Recharge is also solid for managing subscriptions with varying prices and opt-out options.

These apps are pretty straightforward, but it’s always a good idea to test them out to make sure they meet all your specific needs without too much manual work.
